The Provost, College of Postgraduate Studies, Redeemer’s University Ede, Professor Ahmed Yerima, has won a research grant of N2,500,000.00 for script writing on two of Nigeria’s statesmen and cultural heroes, former Emir of Kano, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi and Late Emir Ahmadu Ibrahim Bello, Sardauna of Sokoto and former premier of Northern Nigeria.
In response to the development, the management noted with pride that his scholarly recognition to write and direct such theatrical performances is a testament to his role in the cultural renaissance of his fatherland as an authority in his field endeavours.
