As part of the requirement for the fulfilment of the Bachelor of Nursing Science degree award, the final year students of the Department of Nursing Science paid a facility visit to the International Breweries, Ilesa, recently.
The visit exposed the students of Nursing to the areas of occupational, public and industrial health practices in a manufacturing concern.
Speaking on the visit, Dr. (Mrs.) Olusola Ogunfowokan, Head of the Department of Nursing Science, explained that the facility tour was to expose their students to modern practices in Industrial Nursing.
She added that this exposure was necessary as part of the training students are expected to receive is theory blended with practice.
