The University is committed to the professional development of its faculty. Development include support for study leave, participation at conferences and workshops, attendance at international seminars, etc.
The University encourage doctoral degree programmes for junior faculty with potential for scholarship and research.
Each faculty member submits every year a concrete plan of personal professional development. These plans are considered by the appropriate Board. Financial requirements are allocated within the yearly budget for staff development.
Senior faculty assist junior faculty in their department to develop their potential for research and scholarship. Highly topical Seminars at the cutting edge of research in the various disciplines are held regularly to transmit knowledge to students and faculty members.
