The Registry and Bursary Departments of the Redeemer’s University, Ede, Osun State, recently organized send-forth ceremonies in honour and appreciation of the leadership and contributions to their constituencies by the immediate past Registrar, Mr. Olukayode Akindele and the immediate past Bursar, Mrs. Mofoluso Olutayo-David, respectively.
Speaking at the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Anthony Akinlo, commended them for their services and policy inputs to the successes recorded by his administration. He stated that upon his appointment as the third substantive Vice-Chancellor of the Redeemer’s University, he carried out a background check on those principal officers on the ground and was happy with the feedback from his sources. He praised them for their steadfastness, integrity and sacrifices in assisting his administration in moving the university forward beyond what they met when they assumed office.
Key stakeholders at the ceremonies showered encomiums and eulogies and acknowledged them for their professionalism and firmness in managing the university’s human and financial resources effectively and efficiently.
The events were organized by their various departments to acknowledge their efforts in the mentoring and coaching of administrators and accountants in various aspects of their professions.
Their era witnessed well-organized and improved training programmes for staff in their various departments at no cost to the university. It further saw an increase in knowledge creation and resource mobilization in the university.
