Admission Requirements
(a) UTME Entry Requirements
(i) Five (5) ‘O’ Level Credit passes in SSCE (WAEC or NECO) in not more than two sittings. Credit passes to include English Language and French, and at least a pass in Mathematics.
(ii) Applicants who have passed the Redeemer’s University French Pre-Degree programme or studied in a French-speaking country would be considered for admission into B.A. French degree programme.
(iii) Minimum UTME requirements as set by JAMB in relevant subjects.
(b) Direct Entry Requirements
(i) Two (2) ‘A’ level passes including French with Five (5) ‘O’ Level credit passes, or the Baccalaureate for a candidate coming from a French-speaking country provided he/she satisfies the general requirements for admission to Redeemer’s University.
(ii) NCE holders with the requisite pass in French will be considered for Direct Entry admission into B.A. French degree programme. They must have obtained at least Merit in French as their teaching subject in NCE and must have fulfilled the necessary ‘O’ Level requirements. However, a credit in French at the ‘O’ Level may be waived if the applicant went through the Pre-NCE French course.
