MAKE REDEEMER'S MICROFINANCE BANK YOUR OWN, DANIEL OGUN URGES EDE COMMUNITY

The Chairman, Board of Directors of Redeemer’s University Microfinance Bank, Ede, Dr. Daniel Ogun, has called on the members of Ede community to think, speak, act and patronise the Redeemer’s University Microfinance Bank. 

He stated this at the commissioning of the Redeemer’s University Microfinance Bank, held recently at Redeemer’s University, Ede, Osun State.

Dr. Ogun thanked the Visioners, Management team and prospective stakeholders for making the vision of having a Microfinance Bank as an institution a reality.He urged the community to support the brand Redeemer’s University Microfinance Bank.

In his welcome speech, the pioneer Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Abiodun Peter Durowoju, stressed the importance of the Microfinance bank as a bank committed to providing affordable, convenient and innovative financial solutions to clients within and outside the area.

He noted that RUN MFB aims to bridge the financial gap, promote economic growth and improve the well-being of staff, students, Ede community, and the entire State.

The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Shadrach Akindele, while speaking, re-affirmed the university’s commitment to strategic initiative, financial inclusion and empowerment, which has brought about collaboration and the need to establish a microfinance bank to foster financial inclusion, entrepreneurship and community development.

Prof. Akindele, who was represented by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor and who also doubled as a member of the Board of Directors, Prof. Ahmed Yerima, urged everyone to continue to work together to make a positive impact in the community.
