Graduating students of Redeemer’s University have been urged to find God and above all things make Christ their everything. This statement was made by the two facilitators at the maiden edition of the ‘You Can’ Career Talk Series for graduating Students of the Redeemer’s University.

                The event which was held recently at the Redeemer’s University Auditorium was attended by a large number of graduating students.

                Speaking at the event, the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of TG Marchnata Enterprises (TGM Education), Mr. Tolulope Babatunde Adeusi, spoke on the notable steps needed to make it in life. He stated the need for the students to find God and be loyal to mentors, leaders, friends and the industry. He advised the graduating students to be positive in the midst of challenges. He further urged them to delete procrastination, and do what should be done on time. He further mentioned that “the More Than Conqueror Set should think differently, build great relationships, be persistent and stay focused in any field of their endeavour,” he said.

                Also speaking as a facilitator was the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of The Fufu Factory, Lekki in Lagos State, Mrs Kehinde Omojuyigbe. She shared her wisdom on adding personal value to oneself at the workplace. Mrs Omojuyigbe addressed the realities of life after school, encouraging students to set goals and explore different opportunities with clear objectives, understanding one’s identity and know what they stand for. She also admonished the students to accept failure as part of the journey, keep valuable relationships away from the public, always take care of themselves and above all, she encouraged the students to make Christ their everything.

                Mrs Omojuyigbe emphasised the need to improve their innate skills, ‘you must be ready to learn and accept guidance from experts in your desired skill,” she said.

                Addressing the More Than Conqueror Set, the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Shadrach Akindele, highlighted the options available to students after graduation. He emphasized the importance of putting into practice all the insights shared by the facilitators. Prof. Akindele encouraged the students to make good use of every contact for future opportunities.
