Redeemer’s University is a private, faith-based University owned by the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG). It was licensed by the Federal Government of Nigeria in January 2005. FACULTY OF BASIC MEDICAL SCIENCES

Lecturer II (RUASS 3): Applicants should possess a PhD degree in Biochemistry from a reputable university.

Technologist II (RUHSS 7): Candidates must possess a minimum of good University Honours degree in relevant disciplines or HND in Science Laboratory Technology with a minimum of Upper Credit.

Laboratory Attendant (RUHSS 1): Candidates must possess a minimum of Junior School Certificate.

Professor (RUASS 7): Applicants should be a registered Nurse with a PhD degree in Human Anatomy from a reputable university, with evidence of academic leadership in terms of substantial scholarly publications in reputable journals (in related field of study), project design and monitoring, administrative experience and so on, with at least 9 years post-qualification, full-time relevant teaching and research experience.

Senior Lecturer (RUASS 5): Applicants should be a registered Nurse with a PhD degree in Human Anatomy from a reputable university, with evidence of academic leadership in terms of substantial scholarly publications in reputable journals (in related field of study), project design and monitoring, administrative experience and so on, with at least 3 years post-qualification, full-time relevant teaching and research experience.

Professor (RUASS 7): Applicants should possess BMLS, M.Sc., and PhD in Medical Laboratory Science or a related field from a reputable university, with specialisation in any of the above areas, and evidence of academic leadership in terms of substantial scholarly publications in reputable journals (in related field of study), project design and monitoring, administrative experience and so on, with at least 9 years post-qualification, full-time relevant teaching and research experience. Furthermore, candidates should be registered with the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria.

Senior Lecturer (RUASS 5): Applicants should possess BMLS, M.Sc., and PhD in Medical Laboratory Science or a related field from a reputable university, with specialisation in any of the above areas, with at least 3 years post-qualification, full-time relevant teaching and research experience. Furthermore, candidates should be registered with the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria.

Lecturer I (RUASS 4): Applicants should possess BMLS, M.Sc., and PhD in Medical Laboratory Science or a related field, with specialization in any of the above areas or BMLS and Master’s degree with a minimum of 3 years post-qualification work experience in a University/Research Institute. Furthermore, candidates should be registered with the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria.

Lecturer II (RUASS 3): Applicants should a BMLS and M.Sc. in the required area of specialization from a reputable university. Furthermore, candidates should be registered with the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria.

Professor (RUASS 7) (Area of Specialization – Medical Surgical Nursing): Applicants should be a registered Nurse with a PhD degree in Nursing Science from a reputable university, with specialisation in Medical Surgical Nursing, and evidence of academic leadership in terms of substantial scholarly publications in reputable journals (in related field of study), project design and monitoring, administrative experience and so on, with at least 9 years post-qualification, full-time relevant teaching and research experience.

Reader (RUASS 6) ) (Area of Specialisation – Medical Surgical, Maternal and Child Health): Applicants should be a registered Nurse with a PhD degree in Nursing Science from a reputable university, with specialisation in Medical Surgical, Maternal and Child Health, and evidence of academic leadership in terms of substantial scholarly publications in reputable journals (in related field of study), project design and monitoring, administrative experience and so on, with at least 6 years post-qualification, full-time relevant teaching and research experience.

Senior Lecturer (RUASS 5) (Area of Specialisation – in Community Health Nursing and Mental Nursing): Applicants should be a registered Nurse with a PhD degree in Nursing Science from a reputable university, with specialization in Community Health Nursing and Mental Nursing, and evidence of academic leadership in terms of substantial scholarly publications in reputable journals (in related field of study), project design and monitoring, administrative experience and so on, with at least 3 years post-qualification, full-time relevant teaching and research experience.

Senior Clinical Instructor (RUHSS 9): Candidates should be registered Nurse (NRN) and Midwife (NRM) and holder of Bachelor’s degree in Nursing Science from a recognised University, with minimum of six (6) years post-qualification work experience. Furthermore, candidates must possess a current practicing license.

Laboratory Attendant (RUHSS 1): Candidates must possess a minimum of Junior School Certificate.

Professor (RUASS 7) (Area of Specialization – Paediatric Physiotherapy): Applicants should possess a PhD degree in Physiotherapy from a reputable university, with specialization in Paediatric Physiotherapy, and evidence of academic leadership in terms of substantial scholarly publications in reputable journals (in related field of study), project design and monitoring, administrative experience and so on, with at least 9 years post-qualification, full-time relevant teaching and research experience. Lecturer I (RUASS 4) (Area of Specialization – Geriatric Physiotherapy): Applicants should possess a PhD degree in Physiotherapy from a reputable university, with specialisation in Geriatric Physiotherapy. Furthermore, applicants must be registered by the Medical Rehabilitation Therapists Board (MRTB).

Professor (RUASS 7) (Area of Specialization – Health Promotion and Education): Applicants should possess a PhD degree in Public Health from a reputable university, with specialisation in Health Promotion and Education and evidence of academic leadership in terms of substantial scholarly publications in reputable journals (in related field of study), project design and monitoring, administrative experience and so on, with at least 12 years post-qualification, full-time relevant teaching and research experience.

Senior Lecturer (RUASS 5) (Area of Specialization – Reproductive and Family Health): Applicants should possess a PhD degree in Public Health from a reputable university, with specialisation in Reproductive and Family Health and evidence of academic leadership in terms of substantial scholarly publications in reputable journals (in related field of study), project design and monitoring, administrative experience and so on, with at least three years post-qualification, full-time relevant teaching and research experience.

Faculty of Engineering

Senior Technologist (RUHSS 9): The ideal candidate should possess a PGD/B.Eng./B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering, with specialisation in Mechanical Automation/Thermo-Fluid/Energy. He/She must have a minimum of ten (10) years of work experience in Mechanical Engineering Laboratory analysis. He/She must be registered with COREN, and must be computer literate with certification in at least one relevant software applications. Previous relevant experience in related discipline and in a University/Research Institute will be an added advantage.

Technologist II (RUHSS 7): The ideal candidate should possess a PGD/B.Eng./B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering, with specialisation in Mechanical Automation/Metallurgy. He/She must be computer literate.

Faculty of Law

Applicants should possess a PhD degree in Law from a reputable university, with evidence of academic leadership in terms of substantial scholarly publications in reputable national and foreign journals in the field of Law, project supervision, administrative experience etc., with a minimum of twelve (12) years post-qualification, full-time relevant teaching and research experience.

Same as above but with a minimum of nine (9) years post-qualification, full-time relevant teaching and research experience.

Same as above but with a minimum of six (6) years post-qualification, full-time relevant teaching and research experience.

Applicants should possess a PhD degree in Law from a reputable university, with a minimum of three (3) years post-qualification, full-time relevant teaching and research experience.

Applicants should possess a PhD degree in Law or a Master’s degree in Law (LLM) with evidence of having registered for the doctorate degree (PhD) programme in Law in a reputable University.

Faculty of Social Sciences

Lecturer II (RUASS 3): Applicants should possess a PhD degree in Social Works or Master’s degree in Social Works with a minimum of three (3) years full-time post-qualification teaching experience.

Senior Lecturer (RUASS 5): Applicants should possess a PhD degree from a reputable university in the discipline applied for, with evidence of academic leadership in terms of substantial scholarly publications in reputable journals (in related field of study), project design and monitoring, administrative experience and so on, with at least 6 years post-qualification, full-time relevant teaching and research experience.

Assistant Lecturer (RUASS 2): Applicants should possess a research-based Master’s degree with at least one (1) year, full-time post qualification experience. He/She must possess a Master’s degree result that qualifies for a PhD degree in the relevant discipline and must have registered for the degree in a reputable university.

Professor (Sabbatical) (RUASS 7) (Area of Specialization – Clinical Psychologist): Applicants should possess a PhD degree from a reputable university in the discipline applied for, with evidence of academic leadership in terms of substantial scholarly publications in reputable journals (in related field of study), project design and monitoring, administrative experience and so on, with at least 12 years post-qualification, full-time relevant teaching and research experience. 

Lecturer I (RUASS 4) (Area of Specialization – Social Psychologist): Applicants should possess a PhD degree from a reputable university in the discipline applied for, with a minimum of 3 years post-qualification work experience in a University/Research Institute and with evidence of scholarly publications in reputable journals.

Senior Lecturer (RUASS 5): Applicants should possess a PhD degree from a reputable university in the discipline applied for, with evidence of academic leadership in terms of substantial scholarly publications in reputable journals (in related field of study), project design and monitoring, administrative experience and so on, with at least 6 years post-qualification, full-time relevant teaching and research experience.

Assistant Lecturer (Old Testament) (RUASS 2): Applicants should possess a research-based Master’s degree with at least one (1) year, full-time post qualification experience. He/She must possess a Master’s degree result that qualifies for a PhD degree in the relevant discipline and must have registered for the degree in a reputable university.

Faculty of Built Environment Studies

Banking and Finance Programme

Assistant Lecturer (RUASS 1): Applicants should possess Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Banking and Finance/Finance.

Actuarial Science Programme

Assistant Lecturer (RUASS 1): Applicants should possess Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Actuarial Science/Mathematics/Statistics.

Insurance Programme

Lecturer I (RUASS 4): Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Insurance/Actuarial Science and Master’s degree in Insurance/Finance/Risk Management, with PhD in a relevant field. Candidates must have publications in reputable journals with at least two publications in Scopus-Indexed journals. In addition, candidates must have at least three years experience in a University.

Faculty of Natural Sciences

Senior Lecturer (Molecular Biology/Parasitology): 

  • The ideal candidate should possess a BSc and MSc in Molecular Biology/Biochemistry/Microbiology or any other relevant course in life sciences. Specialization at MSc should be specifically Molecular Biology/Genomics and application in parasitology and Pharmacology.
  • Applicants should possess a PhD degree in Molecular Biology   /Genomics/parasitology/pharmacology.
  • Evidence of academic leadership in terms of substantial scholarly publications commensurate to that level and indexed in ISI Web of Science or Scopus.
  • Applicants should have at least 3 years of full-time relevant teaching and research experience as a Lecturer I.
  • Applicants with over two years of full-time relevant teaching and research experience at Lecturer I level may be considered provided he/she can demonstrate an outstanding scholarship far beyond the minimum requirements.

Lecturer I (Food/Pharmaceutical/Medical Microbiology ):

  • The ideal candidate should possess a BSc in Microbiology and MSc in Microbiology (with specialization in Medical/Pharmaceutical/Industrial/Food Microbiology).
  • The candidate should have a PhD with relevant evidence in the above field of microbiology.
  • Applicants should have at least 3 years of full-time relevant teaching and research experience as a Lecturer II.
  • In addition to basic Microbiology, biological techniques, bacteriology, Microbial Physiology and Genetics, industrial Microbiology etc the ideal candidate must be competent in Microbiology culture assays, epidemiology biotechnology and basic molecular biology techniques.
  • Relevant research experience in the required field Microbiology is also desirable.

Relevant Experience: Teaching/work experience in the relevant fields of Microbiology may be an added advantage.

Lecturer I (Molecular Biology and Genomics/Bioinformatics):

  • The ideal candidate should possess a BSc and MSc in Molecular Biology/Biochemistry/Microbiology or any other relevant course in life sciences. Specialization at MSC should be specifically Molecular Biology/Genomics and Bioinformatics 
  • Applicants should possess a PhD degree in Molecular Biology/Genomics/Bioinformatics
  • Applicants should have at least 3 years post qualification work experience in a University/Research Institute and with evidence of scholarly publications in reputable journals
  • Applicants with over two years full-time relevant teaching and research experience at Lecturer II level may be considered provided he/she can demonstrate an outstanding scholarship far beyond the minimum requirements.

Relevant Experience: Teaching/work experience in the relevant fields of molecular biology, genomics, bioinformatics may be an added advantage.

Assistant Lecturer (Molecular Biology and Genomics):

  • The ideal candidate should possess a BSc in any life sciences courses/Cell Biology/Biotechnology and MSc in relevant fields.
  • The candidate should have been registered for a PhD or MPhil/PhD programme in relevant field as stated above.
  • In addition to basic Molecular Biology knowledge and techniques, knowledge in Cell Biology, Genomics and Bioinformatics will be an advantage.
  • Relevant research experience in the required field of Molecular Biology and Bioinformatics is also desirable.

Laboratory Technologist II (Microbiology/Molecular Biology):

  • The ideal candidate should possess a BSc/HND in Science Laboratory Technology with specialization in Microbiology, Biology, Biotechnology or Associateship of the Institute of Science Technology.
  • The candidate should have a minimum of 2 years post-qualification work experience relevant to the required position in a University/Research Institute.
  • Candidate must be a registered member of relevant professional bodies.
  • Additional qualifications in relevant fields will be an advantage.

Laboratory Technician II/Laboratory Supervisor (Microbiology/Molecular Biology):

  • The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of OND in Science Laboratory Technology with specialization in Microbiology, Biology, Biotechnology or Associateship of the Institute of Science Technology.
  • The candidate should have a minimum of 1-year post-qualification work experience relevant to the required position in a University/Research Institute.
  • For Laboratory Supervisor the candidate should have a minimum of 5 years post qualification experience.
  • Additional qualifications in relevant fields will be an advantage.

Laboratory Attendant:

  • The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE) or its equivalent in life science related
  • Additional qualifications in relevant fields will be an advantage.

Assistant Lecturer (Industrial Chemistry): The candidate should have an MSc. degree in Chemistry and should have commenced his/her PhD programme in Industrial Chemistry option. 

Laboratory Assistant:

  • The candidate should have a science-based background with SSCE/WAEC credit or distinction in Chemistry, in addition to other three (3) science subjects.
  • Computer literacy will be an added advantage.

Computer Science Programme

Senior Lecturer (RUASS 5): Applicants should possess a PhD degree from a reputable University in the discipline applied for, with evidence of academic leadership in terms of substantial scholarly publications commensurate to that level and indexed in ISI Web of Science or Scopus (in the relevant field of study), project design and monitoring, administrative experience and so on, with at least 6 years post-qualification, full-time relevant teaching and research experience.

Lecturer I (RUASS 4): Applicants should possess a PhD degree from a reputable university in the discipline applied for, with a minimum of 3 years post-qualification work experience in a University/Research Institute and with evidence of scholarly publications indexed in ISI Web of Science or Scopus. Candidates with 2 years at LII maybe considered provided he/she can demonstrate scholarship with substantially good publication commensurate to that level and indexed in ISI Web of Science or Scopus.

Lecturer II (RUASS 3): Applicants should possess a PhD degree in the discipline applied for or Master’s degree with minimum of three (3) years full-time post-qualification teaching experience.

Area of specialization: Human – Computer Interaction, Software Engineering, Cloud Computing, Scientific Computing and Medical/ Bio-informatics

Cyber Security Programme

Professor/Reader (RUASS 7/6): Applicants should possess a PhD degree from a reputable University in the discipline applied for, with evidence of academic leadership in terms of substantial scholarly publications commensurate to that level and indexed in ISI Web of Science or Scopus (in the relevant field of study), project design and monitoring, administrative experience and so on, with at least 3 years as Reader /Senior Lecturer in a reputable institution. Applicant with two years at Reader/Senior Lecturer level may be considered provided he/she can demonstrate scholarship with substantially good publication commensurate to that level.

Information Technology Programme

Professor/Reader (RUASS 7/6): Applicants should possess a PhD degree from a reputable University in the discipline applied for, with evidence of academic leadership in terms of substantial scholarly publications commensurate to that level and indexed in ISI Web of Science or Scopus (in the relevant field of study), project design and monitoring, administrative experience and so on, with at least 3 years as Reader /Senior Lecturer in a reputable institution. Applicant with two years at Reader/Senior Lecturer level may be considered provided he/she can demonstrate scholarship with substantially good publication commensurate to that level.

Senior Lecturer (RUASS 5): Applicants should possess a PhD degree from a reputable University in the discipline applied for, with evidence of academic leadership in terms of substantial scholarly publications commensurate to that level and indexed in ISI Web of Science or Scopus (in the relevant field of study), project design and monitoring, administrative experience and so on, with at least 6 years post-qualification, full-time relevant teaching and research experience.

Programmers and Technologist

Programmer II: Applicants should possess a minimum of BSc Degree in Computer Science from a reputable institution. He/she must be versatile in the state-of-the-art programming languages such as Java, C#, C++, Python, R, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, PHP, SQL. The applicant should as well have strong aptitude for coding and solid experience in software development, analytical and problem-solving skills, and aptitude for learning new technology. Relevant IT certification could be an added advantage.

Technologist II (Cyber Security and Information Technology Programmes): Applicants should possess a minimum of BSc Degree or HND in Computer Science, Cyber Security, information technology, or a related technical field from a reputable institution. Candidates must demonstrate strong analytical skills and strategic thinking, Ability to evaluate and maintain complex technical systems. He/she must possess a good Knowledge of intrusion detection and prevention systems, and ability to recognize attack and network breaches. Sufficient knowledge of technology and resources available to resolve network operating problems. The applicant should as well have strong aptitude for coding and solid experience in software development, analytical and problem-solving skills, and aptitude for learning new technology. Knowledge of complex technical networking systems and relevant ICT certifications would be added advantage.

Lecturer I (Environmental Management and Toxicology):

  • The ideal candidate should possess a BSc/BTech, MSc and PhD degrees with specialization in Environmental Management and Toxicology or Environmental Chemistry or any related field of toxicology.
  • In addition to the general requirements, the ideal candidate must show evidence of academic leadership in terms of substantial scholarly publications indexed in ISI Web of Science or Scopus (in related field of studies), project design and monitoring, and administrative experience.

Relevant Experience: Strong knowledge of environmental chemistry principles and concepts; familiarity with analytical techniques and instruments (e.g., GC, MS, HPLC); understanding of environmental sampling and monitoring methods; and adequate knowledge of environmental regulations and policies. Membership in professional organizations (e.g., Nigerian Environmental Society, International Association of Environmental Chemists) would be an added advantage.

Lecturer II (Environmental Management and Toxicology):

  • The ideal candidate should possess a BSc/BTech, MSc and PhD degrees with specialization in Environmental Management and Toxicology or Environmental Biology, Ecology, Zoology, or Botany or any related field.
  • In addition to the general requirements, specialization in a specific area of Environmental Microbiology (e.g., Conservation Biology, Ecotoxicology, Environmental Microbiology) is desirable. Considerable research experience, evidenced by journal publications indexed in ISI Web of Science or Scopus (in related field of studies) and ability to design and conduct research projects, including field and laboratory work, will be an added advantage.

Relevant Experience: Strong knowledge of environmental biology principles and concepts; familiarity with ecological principles, conservation biology, and biodiversity; understanding of environmental impact assessment and management; and adequate knowledge of biological sampling and monitoring methods. Membership of professional organizations (e.g., Nigerian Environmental Society, Ecological Society of Nigeria) would be an added advantage.

Technologist II (Environmental Management and Toxicology):

  • The ideal candidate should possess an HND/BSc in Microbiology, Biology, Biotechnology or Chemistry.

  • Professional qualifications or registration with professional bodies in relevant fields will be an advantage.
  • Previous relevant experience in related discipline and in a University/Research Institute will be an added advantage.

 

Lecturer II (Algebra):

  • The ideal candidate should possess a BSc/BTech in Mathematics/Industrial Mathematics and an MSc in Mathematics (with a specialization in Algebra).
  • The candidate should have a PhD in Algebra, Algebraic Structures, or Algebraic Topology
  • For candidates without a PhD, a minimum of three (3) years of teaching experience as an Assistant Lecturer in these areas is required.
  • The candidate must have publication experience in reputable journals indexed in ISI Web of Science or Scopus.

Lecturer II – Data Science (Analytics/Big Data):

  • The ideal candidates should possess BSc in Data Science/Statistics and an MSc in Data Science.
  • The candidate should have a PhD in Data Science specializing in Analytics/Big Data.
  • For candidates without a PhD, a minimum of three (3) years of teaching experience as an Assistant Lecturer in these areas is required.
  • Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in data science, such as Python, R, or SQL and hands-on experience in statistical analysis and machine learning algorithms, including data visualization methods, is required.
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools and frameworks, such as Pandas, NumPy, TensorFlow, or Hadoop and applying the techniques to real-world problems and datasets will be an added advantage.
  • Evidence of publications in Scopus-Indexed Journals would be an added advantage.

Senior Lecturer (Geology – Petroleum Geology and Sedimentology): In addition to the general requirements, Applicants must possess BSc, MSc. and PhD degrees in Geology from reputable University with specialization in Petroleum Geology and Sedimentology. The candidate must show evidence of academic leadership in terms of substantial scholarly publications indexed in ISI Web of Science or Scopus (in related field of studies), project design and monitoring, and administrative experience.

Relevant Experience: Hands-on experience on the following would be an added advantage: Field work across different sedimentary basins in Nigeria; Sieve analysis and Thin section; and Vastness in sedimentary laboratory experiments.

Senior Lecturer (Geology – Soft Rock) (Petroleum Geology and Sedimentology):

In addition to the general requirements, Applicants must possess BSc, MSc and PhD degrees in Geology with specialization in soft rock from a reputable University. The candidate must show evidence of academic leadership in terms of substantial scholarly publications indexed in ISI Web of Science or Scopus (in related field of studies), project design and monitoring, and administrative experience.

Relevant Experience: Hands-on experience on the following would be an added advantage: Field work across different sedimentary basins in Nigeria; Sieve analysis and Thin section; and Vastness in sedimentary laboratory experiments.

Assistant Lecturer (Theoretical and Computational Physics): 

  • The ideal candidate should possess a BSc/BTech/BSc (Ed) in Physics/Physics with Electronics and MSc in Physics (with specialization in Theoretical Physics/Computational Physics) from a recognized University.
  • The candidate should have been registered for a PhD or MPhil/PhD programme in Theoretical Physics/Computational Physics/ Theoretical and Computational Physics or should have completed a research-based MSc in any of these areas with a PhD grade.
  • In addition to sufficient knowledge of advanced Mathematical Physics (Statistical Mechanics, Quantum Theory, Atomic and Molecular Theory, etc.) and considerable skills in computing using MATLAB, Python and Mathematica/any other relevant modern scientific computing languages, the ideal candidate must demonstrate adequate knowledge and analytical competence in the field of Nonlinear Dynamics, Chaos and Complex systems. The candidate should be able to teach courses in the theory and simulation of coupled oscillators, vibration analysis, and chaos and synchronization; and carry out advanced research on these topics).

Relevant Experience: Experience as Teaching Assistant/Laboratory Demonstrator in a recognized University/Research Institute will be an added advantage.

Assistant Lecturer (Electronic Instrumentation and Measurement):

  • Applicants should possess a BSc/BTech in Physics/Physics with Electronics and MSc in Physics (with specialization in Electronic Instrumentation).
  • The candidate must have been registered for a PhD or MPhil/PhD programme in Physics with Electronics in a reputable University.
  • In addition, the candidate must have strong proficiency in the following: Electronic circuit design and Printed Circuit Board (PCB) design and fabrication; use of electronic design software, e.g. Proteus, Eagle, Altium, OrCAD, or any free Open-Source Circuit design software; Microcontroller programming, e.g. Arduino, C++

Relevant Experience: Experience in building electronic projects as well as practical electronic laboratory work is desirable. In addition, experience as Teaching Assistant/Laboratory Demonstrator in a recognized University/Research Institute will be an added advantage.

Laboratory Technologist II (Geology):

  • Applicants should possess an HND (with minimum of Upper Credit) in Science Laboratory Technology (SLT) in Geology or other allied courses, from recognized institutions.
  • Membership of NISLT would be an advantage.

Laboratory Attendant (Geology): Applicants must possess an OND (Lower Credit) in Science Lab. Tech (SLT), in Geology or any allied courses. The ideal candidate would be required to assist the Laboratory Technologist in guiding students in practical laboratory experiments, managing day-to-day activities in the Geology Laboratory.

In addition to the specific departmental requirements mentioned above, applicants must meet the following general requirements and qualifications:

  1. Professor/Reader (RUASS 7/6):

    Applicants should possess a PhD degree from a reputable University in the discipline applied for, with evidence of academic leadership in terms of substantial high-quality scholarly publications commensurate to that level and indexed in ISI Web of Science or Scopus (in the relevant field of study), project design and monitoring, administrative experience and so on, with at least 3 years as Reader/Senior Lecturer in a reputable institution, respectively. Applicants with over two years full-time relevant teaching and research experience at Reader/Senior Lecturer level may be considered provided he/she can demonstrate an outstanding scholarship far beyond the minimum requirements.

  2. Senior Lecturer (RUASS 5): Applicants should possess a PhD degree from a reputable University in the discipline applied for, with evidence of academic leadership in terms of substantial scholarly publications commensurate to that level and indexed in ISI Web of Science or Scopus (in the relevant field of study), project design and monitoring, administrative experience and so on, with at least 3 years full-time relevant teaching and research experience as a Lecturer I. Applicants with over two years full-time relevant teaching and research experience at Lecturer I level may be considered provided he/she can demonstrate an outstanding scholarship far beyond the minimum requirements.

  3. Lecturer I (RUASS 4): Applicants should possess a PhD degree from a reputable University in the discipline applied for, with a minimum of 3 years post-qualification work experience in a University/Research Institute and with evidence of scholarly publications indexed in ISI Web of Science or Scopus. Candidates with over two years full-time relevant teaching and research experience at Lecturer II level may be considered provided he/she can demonstrate a scholarship with substantially excellent publication far beyond the minimum requirements.
  4. Lecturer II (RUASS 3): Applicants should possess a PhD degree in the discipline applied for or Master’s degree with a minimum of three (3) years full-time post-qualification teaching experience with evidence of scholarly publications indexed in ISI Web of Science or Scopus. Applicants without a PhD degree must have a minimum of three (3) years full-time teaching experience in a recognized university with evidence of scholarly publications indexed in ISI Web of Science or Scopus and must provide a PhD progress report with evidence of substantive progress on the programme.  
  5. Assistant Lecturer (RUASS 2): Applicants should possess a research-based Master’s degree result that qualifies for registration into a PhD degree in the relevant discipline. Evidence of registration for the PhD degree in a reputable University would be an added advantage. Although lecturing experience is not mandatory, demonstrable evidence of teaching/work experience in a higher institution would be an added advantage.

Directorate of Students’ Support and Services

Candidate must have a good honours degree (not below Second Class Lower Division) and a Master’s degree or equivalent with at least fifteen years of post-qualification administrative or professional experience, with a minimum of ten years at management level. In addition, candidate must have been a Deputy Registrar in the Registry of a University for a minimum of 4 years.

Applicants must have a good degree or equivalent qualification in Educational Guidance and Counselling or Psychology from a recognized Institution plus 6 years post-qualification experience. In addition, applicants must be a registered member of Counselling Association of Nigeria (CASSON).

Directorate of Corporate Affairs

Candidates must possess a good first degree not below Second Class Lower Division in Humanities, Social Sciences or Natural Sciences from a recognised University with at least 16 years cognate post qualification experience, nine (9) of which must be in the University system. Candidates should be a member of relevant professional bodies like ANUPA, NIMN, NIPR, AUA, AAUA.  In addition, candidates must have been a Deputy Director, Corporate Affairs of a University for a minimum of 4 years. Possession of higher degree certificate will be an added advantage.

Candidates must have a good first degree not below Second Class Lower Division in Humanities, Social Sciences and Natural Sciences from a recognised University with at least 6 years cognate post qualification experience. The ideal candidate should be able to manage social media accounts and activities, ensuring that all pictures, audio, and videos to be published meet international standards. Additionally, the candidates should have strong proficiency in developing creative graphics, illustrations, and layouts for various mediums, including social media, print materials, presentations, and website content.

Directorate of Chaplaincy

Applicants must have a good honours degree in relevant courses or its equivalent from a recognized University plus at least eighteen (18) years post-qualification cognate experience or relevant Masters degree plus fifteen (15) years cognate post-qualification experience.

Candidate must have a good honours degree in the relevant courses or its equivalent from a recognized University plus at least six years post-qualification experience or a relevant Master’s degree plus at least three (3) years post-qualification cognate experience.

Directorate of Physical Planning

B.Sc., B.Tech. or HND+PGD in Land Surveying or Surveying & Geoinformatics from a recognized institution with at least three years of post-qualification experience. Candidate must be a member of the Nigerian Institution of Surveyors and should be registered with relevant professional body such as Surveyors Council of Nigeria. The candidate should be highly capable of producing accurate maps and surveys with strict adherence to project timelines. He/ She must have sound knowledge of the use of surveying tools such as total station and leveling instrument, and be proficient in using surveying and GIS software such as AutoCAD, ArcGIS or QGIS, etc.

Directorate Of Works and Maintenance Services

Candidate must have a good degree in Engineering, plus at least 15 years post-qualification experience. He/She must be registered with the Council of Registered Engineers of Nigeria (COREN) with at least 10 years post-registration experience, three (3) of which must have been in the University.

Bursary Department

Applicants must possess a B.Sc. with minimum of Second Class Lower Division in Accounting or its equivalent from a recognised university. Membership of relevant professional bodies such as ACA, ACCA, CPA, or ACMA will be an added advantage.

Candidates must possess at least a National Diploma in Accountancy from a recognized institution with a minimum of Lower Credit.
