Apparent eagerness and excitement filled the air as Redeemer’s University welcomed the successful fresh students for the 2023/2024 academic session for their registration and orientation exercises.
Speaking during the orientation exercise, the Ag. Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Ahmed Yerima welcomed the fresh students and congratulated them for making the list of successful candidates into Redeemer’s University, the winner of Nigeria’s 2022 NAS Gold Award for Best University in Science. He further admonished the students to be good ambassadors who will uphold the rules and tenets of the university as they commence their academic journey so as to be found worthy to receive the institution’s certificate in learning and character.
Chairman of the orientation committee Prof. Olalere Adeyemi, congratulated the first-year students for being a part of the NUS-ranked 2021 Best Private University in Nigeria. He assured the students that they would be well cared for during their stay on campus.
The two-day orientation exercise covered areas such as CGPA calculation, effective study habits, the making of an excellent student, awareness on drug and substance abuse, library usage amongst others.
