Team Havilah has emerged the overall winner of the 2025 Undergraduate Students’ Coding Competition held at Redeemer’s University, Ede.
The team, made up of Bamilosin Daniel Eniola and Godbless Peter Uwem, clinched the N500,000 grand prize with their AI-powered medical solution titled “Kidney Stone Localization using Detection Transformer with Explainability,” designed to aid diagnosis and treatment for patients suffering from kidney stones.
The event, which brought together 25 teams from various undergraduate departments, showcased innovative tech solutions focused on the application of Artificial Intelligence in Medicine.

Team Nova secured second place and a cash prize of N300,000 with their project “SeeForMe”, a digital assistant for the physically challenged. The team members were Fadehan Daniel, Taiwo Ayomide, and Omidire Ifeoluwa.
Third place went to Team DHG Teen Titans, comprising Olokor Samuel Oroghene and Oluyemi Emmanuel. They received N200,000 for their project “DrNova”, an AI-enhanced medical dictionary for quick healthcare reference.
