The Tekena Tamuno Library joins millions across the globe to celebrate the Visitor to the University for God’s faithfulness to him over the years with a one-week exhibition of his books, pictures, quotes, videos, etc to tell the story of his life and ministry.Video documentaries based on the life of the General Overseer will be showcased at the library throughout the period.
The Vice Chancellor, Professor Anthony Akinlo, who was at the library to catch sight of the exhibition commended the Acting University Librarian, Dr. Akinniyi Adeleke on this innovative idea and gave kudos to the Tekena Tamuno Library team. The Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Professor (Mrs.) Adebola Adebileje and the Bursar, Mrs. Mofoluso Olutayo-David also commended the effort of the school’s library on their thoughtfulness.
Some of the materials for the exhibition are clippings of newspapers and magazines which date as far back as 2007. In the book titled “Who is Who in Nigeria”, Pastor Adeboye’s profile is at the fore-front. 80 things about Daddy G.O were pasted and all his publications were also exhibited.
Members of staff are also being invited to visit the exhibition and learn more about our Daddy, the Visitor to the University.
