RUN PROMOTES SEVEN ACADEMIC STAFF TO PROFESSORIAL CADRE

In line with her policy thrust to make the welfare of staff a priority, the management team of the Redeemer’s University led by Professor Anthony E. Akinlo has promoted seven academic staff into professorial cadre based on the recommendation of external assessors in their various fields. Their appointment was backdated to 1ST October, 2021. 

On top of the list is Professor (Mrs.) Olusola Akinbobola, who made history as the first home-grown professor of Psychology and the second female professor to be appointed in the Faculty of Social Science of this prestigious university.

Others are: Dr. M.O.M. Akpor-Robaro, Senior lecturer at the Department of Business Administration and Marketing, who is also the head of his department, was appointed an Associate Professor. The head of the Department of Economics, Dr. Rasaki S. Dauda also became an Associate Professor.

It was an epic moment for the department of Mass Communication as four senior lecturers became Associate Professors. They are Dr. Omowale Adelabu, Dr. Felix Talabi, Dr. Bernice Sanusi, and Dr. Emmanuel Ifeduba.

The management has congratulated every one of them and hopes that they would reciprocate this gesture through diligence and dedication to their job.
