SENATE, CONGREGATION ELECT THREE REPRESENTATIVES INTO GOVERNING COUNCIL

The Senate of Redeemer’s University at her 103rd Regular Meeting held on Wednesday 25th October, 2017 has elected two distinguished professors and well-rounded administrators to represent her interests in the Governing Council of the institution.

To represent the Senate on the Governing Council are the duo of Professor Gabriel Kolawole, who is the Dean of College of Postgraduate Studies and Professor Adepoju Adeleke, Director, Redeemer’s University Centre for Entrepreneurship Development Studies(RUNCEDS).

Also at a different forum, the Congregation on 31st October, 2017 elected a renowned playwright, Professor Ahmed Yerima, who is the current Head of the Department of Theatre Arts, as its representative to the Governing Council. He was returned to the Council having initially served for a period of four years.

The three of them are to be on the Governing Council for a period of four years with effect from Wednesday 16th August, 2017.
