An alumnus of the Redeemer's University, Mr. Oluwadamilola Apotieri-Abdulai has donated books worth several thousands of naira to the university during his courtesy visit to the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Debo Adeyewa in his office, recently.

Mr. Apotieri-Abdullai said his donation was a fulfillment to the prophesy of the Visitor to the university, Pastor E.A. Adeboye, who said that the alumni would one day award scholarship to students and become a blessing to their alma-mater.

He added that in order to fulfill the vision of the Visitor, he has started making arrangement to start giving back to the institution that made him who he is and thus necessitating donation of 25 books and DVDs across discipline for the learning and development of Redeemer's University students.

He charged the alumni of the university to contribute to its development and reminded them that they are the only ones who can build the institution and make it great.

He hoped that the little seeds of books he planted today would one day grow into one of the biggest libraries in the world.

While receiving the donation, the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Debo Adeyewa thanked him and charged other alumni to emulate his foot-step to fast-track the university progress towards becoming a world class citadel of learning.
