Staff of the College of Humanities and other well-wishers recently gathered at a sent forth party to celebrate an icon, mentor, coach, bridge-builder, writer, seasoned teacher and one of the key figures that have impacted many people at Redeemer's University, Professor Ademola Bewaji-Dasylva who ended his sabbatical leave in the university.
Many kind words were used to describe the amiable professor and father to many students and staff. Tears of joy rolled out of many people faces as they wished that the man would rescind his decision and continue his service to the university.
The picture painted by those who worked with the kindhearted professor through their narratives had shown that he positively impacted on the lives of all his staff at the college.
His tenure as the founding Director of General Studies Directorate and later as the Dean, College of Humanities would be remembered for transformational and result oriented leadership.
The event was witnessed by members of the Management team, staff of the college and other well wishers within the university.
