The Governing Council of Bode Akindele Foundation (BAF) led by its chairman, Archbishop L.S. Ayo-Ladigbolu, has congratulated Redeemer's University on its various achievements since it was established in 2005.
The foundation commended the university for emerging the best rated among 15 prestigious universities that were selected for African Centres of Excellence in West Africa and also for winning Human, Hereditary and Health African Research grant award of $1.54million funded by a partnership between the United Kingdom's Wellcome Trust and the United States' National Institute of Health.
BAF acknowledged the quality of the Computer Education being offered by the university which led to the recognition of its Computer Science Programme by the Computer Professional Registration Council of Nigeria and various medals won by its students at the IT competitions organized by the Nigerian Computer Society, Ogun State Chapter.
Archbishop Ayo-Ladigbolu reiterated that the foundation would fulfill its pledge on the university ICT project, adding that the project would commence as soon as the project consultant submit her report on the permanent site.
