Vice-Chancellor Eulogizes Team-Redeemer's University To NPUGA

The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Debo Adeyewa, has eulogized the Team-Redeemer's University for representing the university well at the just concluded Nigerian Private Universities Games held at Joseph Ayo Babalola University, Ikeji-Arakeji, Osun State.

Team Redeemer's University won a total of  9 medals at the event. They won a  Gold medal in Scrabble(Male Double), five Silver medals( 1 Silver-Chess,1 Silver-Scrabble,2 Silver-Table,1-Silver Basketball) and three Bronze(1 Bronze -Volleyball,1 Bronze-4x400m relay female and 1 Bronze-Table tennis).   

He commended them for their perseverance, courage and determination to do well and made the university proud in spite of all odds. He acknowledged the  efforts of the sportsmen and women in various games entered for and their determination to showcase the quality that the university is made up.

Professor Adeyewa assured those athletes that won medals that they shall be awarded scholarships depending on the category of medal(s) each person had won.

It will be recalled that  the university team participated for the first time in the Nigerian Private Universities Games and placed 11th position in the medal table out of the 25 private universities that participated.
