The staff of the Redeemer's University gathered together recently to appreciate and thank God for His goodness over the years during the first covenant service held at the university pavilion. The programme started with praise and worship session led by Pastor  (Mrs.)  Oghale Alakija.
Speaking at the event, the Special Assistant to the General Overseer on Education and Training, Pastor E.O. Odeyemi,  admonished all the staff to give God's word a priority in their daily activities and conduct.

He charged the audience to be courageous as they go through life challenges, saying that 'Courage is the ability to keep moving when it does not make sense'.

Pastor Odeyemi said that the word of God is good for all situations, adding that it has geographical, emotional and spiritual components.
Meanwhile the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Debo Adeyewa, during the occasion charged all staff to be more dedicated to God this year.

He thanked everyone who has contributed to the success of the university and admonished all staff members to be more spiritually committed to the things of God in the days ahead.
