The dream of the proprietor of Redeemer’s University to make it an entrepreneurial university has received a boost with the commencement of  the Centre For Entrepreneurship Studies recently.

According to a statement by the Director of the centre, Professor Adepoju  Adeleke, "We have registered 200 level students into our entrepreneurship course and also carried out  compilation of business and skill acquisition outfits within the camp that we can collaborate with for the training of students".

Professor Adeleke reiterated the commitment of the centre to develop customized courses and training programmes that will lead to the award of globally recognized certifications in entrepreneurship. He added that a committee has been set-up to work out a proposal on the  organisation of national workshop on strategic entrepreneurship by the centre.

The centre is designed to train students on theoretical and practical entrepreneurship in order for them to become job creators after graduating from the university.
