SUPREME GIFT
Your gift of cash, publicly traded stock, real estate or other property, and gifts-in-kind, can help Redeemer’s University to fulfill its mission of nurturing and producing outstanding graduates and becoming a first class institution of higher education.
Gift of cash can be made through direct payment by cheque, mail, on-line or paid in person into the donation accounts or to the Resource Mobilization & Linkages Division. Members of the RUN Partners enjoy the privilege of a special relationship with the University's Proprietors and Management.
Members will receive periodic updates from the Vice-Chancellor. They will get special recognition during special RUN activities and in the annual publication of the list of University donors
Pledging to pay your gift over a number of years:
Donors may choose to make a gift to the University in the form of a pledge; or promise to give a certain amount within a specified period.
When you pledge to support RUN, you

Gifts of Stocks & Bonds
These gifts of stocks/bonds, over a period of time and maturity can result in providing resources far beyond what was originally intended. There is no restriction to the utilization of such a gift. It can be used to support a particular college, scholarship, professorial chair, etc. Before making a gift of stocks/bonds, please discuss with a representative of Redeemer’s University RMLD.
Other forms of Giving
You can make a much more significant gift to benefit Redeemer’s University than ever imagined by exploring other forms of giving that may apply to your own situation. Some of the forms of giving include include Will Bequests, Life Insurance
Will/Bequest:
Will/Bequests are a wonderful way to show support for higher education. It is flexible and provides you with the ability to make adjustments as your life situation changes. It also often enables donor to make a far larger gift than they thought possible.
Your bequest can be used to support a particular school or college, to create a scholarship in your name, or for another purpose you choose. Bequests may also be made in honour or memory of a loved one, or even a favourite professor.
Apart from cash, bequests to Redeemer’s University may include real estate, works of art, rare books, patent rights, or virtually anything of value.
A will may leave to the Redeemer’s University a specific cash amount or property, or it may reserve for the University a certain percentage of the property remaining after provisions for family members and other beneficiaries.
Real Estate/Buildings:
An individual or family can make a gift of their estate in the following ways:
1. Leave a percentage of their estate to RUN.Life Insurance:
An individual can name Redeemer’s University as the beneficiary of an old life insurance policy, or can purchase a new policy naming the Redeemer’s University as the owner and irrevocable beneficiary.
When considering making a gift of life insurance, we encourage you to speak with your financial advisor.
Personal properties such as furniture, rare books, automobiles, fine or antique jewelry, paintings, and antiques can be contributed to fund a particular endowment.
